What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?
Conscious Connected Breathwork is a simple but profound technique using a continuous, circular breath. By removing the pauses between the inhale and the exhale, we shift the body’s chemistry and quieten the "analytical" mind.
As a qualified psychotherapist, I’ve found that this practice often reaches places that talking therapy alone cannot. It allows your "thinking" brain to step aside so your inner wisdom can take the lead.
Accessing "Dream-Like" States and Root Causes
Many people describe the experience as entering a vivid, dream-like state. Because the breath regulates the nervous system and quiets the ego, you may experience:
Physical releases of long-held tension.
Flashes of profound clarity regarding life decisions.
Vivid memories or symbolic images.
A deep sense of peace and "oneness."
In my own 400-hour Breathwork training over one year, I realised the body stores what the mind tries to forget. I reached stages of consciousness that revealed unexpressed grief and shame. Breathing through these layers allowed me to find the root cause of my tension and move toward a state of integration and healing.
The 6-Week Group Journey in Balham
I offer this work in 6-week cycles because the breath is a skill that deepens with practice. In a safe, trauma-informed group container, we move through three stages:
Begining Week: Finding Safety
We focus on grounding and nervous system regulation. You will learn to soften the belly and open the breath, teaching your body it is safe to let go with group support.
Middle Weeks : The Deep Dive
As the group trust grows, we explore those deeper altered states of consciousness. This is where your body and breath move in allowing for significant emotional shifts. We we process the journey in group sharing.
Last few Weeks: Integration and Clarity
We focus on bringing your insights back into daily life. You leave the programme feeling more balanced, clear-headed, and connected to your body’s wisdom.
