Monthly Breathwork journeys for Therapist Wellbeing, Self-Awareness and Reflection

As therapists, we spend much of our professional lives supporting others.

We hold space for grief, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions and emotional pain. We listen deeply, remain present and help clients make sense of their experiences. Yet many of us have limited opportunities to step out of the therapist role and focus on our own wellbeing, self-awareness and personal growth.

This monthly breathwork series has been created exclusively for counsellors and psychotherapists.

Held in Balham SW12, South West London, these professionally facilitated workshops offer a dedicated space for therapist wellbeing, reflective practice, personal development and connection with fellow therapists.

Through breathwork, embodied awareness, reflective group processing and shared experience, we create opportunities to slow down, reconnect and explore our own inner world.

Some sessions focus on nervous system regulation, restoration and recovery from stress. Others invite deeper emotional exploration, self-discovery, movement, creativity and insight.

Each session includes breathwork, facilitated group sharing and reflective processing. Participants are invited to explore their own experience, listen to the reflections of fellow therapists and discover the insights that emerge through shared experience and connection.

Following each session, there is an optional opportunity to continue conversations over a tea or coffee at a nearby café. It's a relaxed way to connect with fellow therapists and continue building a supportive community.

Sessions can be attended individually or as part of the full series.

about Mark

I am an integrative psychotherapist based in South London and founder of Talk To Evolve Counselling.

Alongside my counselling practice, I am a trained breathwork facilitator with over 400 hours of professional breathwork training and I am fully insured to practise.

My psychotherapy work integrates relational, person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, supporting clients online, face-to-face and through outdoor walk-and-talk therapy.

I am passionate about the connection between breath, body, mind and nature. Much of my outdoor therapy work takes place around Tooting Bec Common and the surrounding green spaces of Balham and South London.

My interest in breathwork developed through both professional training and personal experience. During a period of burnout and fatigue, breathing practices played an important role in helping me restore balance and reconnect with myself. Conscious Connected Breathwork also helped me explore grief, loss and aspects of myself that had previously remained outside conscious awareness.

Today I bring together psychotherapy, breathwork and a love of nature to create spaces that are grounded, compassionate and professionally held.
